could you rename this thread? Its hardly 'calling all gooners' which suggests we all should read it -- how about 'knockabout chat'

Thing is the CAG is a legendary fred from old BBC 606 - it was the one place where Gooners could come home to roost.
There were no sticky's on BBC and the old freds used to disappear even if they'd been commented on, so the CAG was a constant in a sea of wummery.
Changing the name of the CAG would be like asking Arsenal to change their name.....

This is a fun fred.It's the one place where we can all **** about without upsetting anyone.The Shed Fred on the Chelsea board is exactly the same.As Piskie has already said there were loads of CAGS on the old 606 but they got closed after 2,000 posts.****ing Beeb
