Lads have played a blinder here, we had to make it look like we gave a damn for a while to ensure we don’t get done for match fixing.
This ain’t even Spursy. Spursy would’ve been beating City and further strengthening our fierce rival’s lead at the top. Played, lads.
I honestly don't understand why you would spend so much money on a bespoke stadium, pumping God knows how much into it and not provide a decent team to play in it..............Unless its a massive money laundering scam
cut him some slack you know what he’s like when the pressure is on his next goal equals our club goal scoring record so not expecting much from him till one goes in off his backside just watched the game with my City supporting brother told him at half time ‘chill, you got this 5-2’ almost bang on…either way result
I'd agree about the pressure if he was missing chances, but he wasn't getting into a position to get off any shots. His movement was non-existent. He looked half-arsed and couldn't read the game to make the runs you'd expect from him. The game passed him by and he was a bystander for most of it.
Got a few Oadby stories from my Uni days I once stood in the queue behind Robbie Savage in Oadby Pizza and then spent the evening at the Whetherspoons opposite whilst he was in there. He played for Leicester at the time. Though my favourite was a pub crawl we did through Oadby and drank in "all 9 pubs" only to be informed there was only 8 pubs in the village. We retraced our steps and it turns out pub 7 or 8 was just someone's house with patio windows on the main street and a mini-bar - fair play they served us when we rolled in steaming drunk, sat and watched the football on their tv and then left.
Poor guy’s probably fed up playing in a system that leaves him isolated because we sit back for 95% of the game. He’s off in the summer though so silver lining for him. Mid table obscurity for us, just like the good old days.
... I once queued behind Muzzy Izzet in Mothercare in The Shires ... Robbie was with him but stayed outside the store..
Tbf I thought Conte did the opposite of his usual game plan today. Usually your first half is playing cautious, sitting back... until you go a goal down then you start attacking. Today you went forward in the first half and got a couple of goals. When you came out after the break I expected Conte to do in the 2nd half what you normally do in the first. And that's where it went horribly wrong.
