You missed a zero off there mate

 

This Ekwah transfer has ticked on for quite a while - surely a loan agreement doesn't take this long?

...or maybe it isn't a loan?

 

When you agree a loan with a buy option, would I be right in assuming the contract with the player would also be agreed? I.e, we can just activate the transfer, not activate and then have to negotiate with the player?

Nah it’s just the price that’s agreed, we would have to negotiate their contract once we activate the option.

However, it wouldn’t surprise me if the contract was agreed before the option was exercised.

I genuinely believe we won't sign anybody until the latter stages of next week.

 

It's Friday tomorrow. It's been reported we're very close to 2 players so don't be surprised if tomorrow is the day. Plus we have form for signing players then not announcing them for a few days.

Cresswell would be class, dont think he would improve the team immediately but the guy has huge potential

 

A future centre back pairing of Cresswell and Ballard would be awesome. It would be like have two slabs of concrete in defence.
