I don't know too much about all of that tbh. But I do believe Spurs fans are trying to convince themselves he's doing a good job without really considering that a change at the top could really change their ambitions and outcomes on the pitch.
What's that saying? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That's Levy as CEO in a nutshell.
He just needs to be kept away from footballing matters, I don’t think he’s a terrible businessman but he’s just not a football man, Paratici’s taken over a lot of that thankfully but Levy still seemingly controls/ has a strong say in the budget so it still interferes at times - and that’s what’s happening now with our chase for Porro as Sporting have told he won’t leave for anything less than his release and over two weeks into the window we’re trying to haggle in typical Levy fashion.
Make no mistake though, Conte is failing hard this season. Our squad is nowhere near as bad as he’s making us play.
It’s not happening though is it…he’s not being kept away. Everything still stinks of Levy.
He won’t stay away…I’ve been hearing this for years and how it’s supposed to be different now but it’s not.
only way he keeps his nose out is if he leaves the scene totally…somehow. It might not be happening but it’s the only way it will ever come to fruition imo.

Depends how you see it. Conte wanted three positions in the summer; forward, LWB and a LCB, he got his two first choice targets at forward and LWB with Richarlison and Perisic but Bastoni rejected us so we got Lenglet for the season. Add in Bissouma who spurs and rival fans said was a great signing, plus Spence who’s a top talent and we all went into the season confident/ hopeful of a top 3 finish and a good run in the cups. Levy sanctioned a £150m spending spree to improve the squad and Paratici/ Conte done just that.
So now because Conte's failing with this improved team, people go back to blaming Levy for it. He should’ve sanctioned the funds for Porro by now but it ain’t his fault Conte’s doing a **** job. It also ain’t his fault players like Richarlison have been a massive flop after we spent £60m on him, you were raving about him in the summer too so it ain’t like you were unhappy with additions that Levy sanctioned the money on.
Failing to get a tune out of a squad that consists of the likes of Kane, Son, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Bentancur, Bissouma, Perisic, Romero etc is criminal from Conte. Howe, De Zerbi, Frank etc are getting far more out of weaker calibre sides.
Levy gets a lot of **** wrong but some blame for things even out of his control.
Conte been here just over a year…very important to remember that
Levy hired a winner but treating him like a project manager because once again he proves to me that he’s clueless
Levy purchased a Ferrari and stuck some Ford Escort wheels on it and said ‘go on then son…do your stuff’

None of the new purchases are an issue…maybe 1 or 2 but that’s expected…but that’s not enough…Conte still having to turn to ****ing Eric Dire and Ben Davies…who were at their powers 5 years ago…we need to move on…Levy doesn’t have the fire to make that happen it seems…he’s too busy ****ing about as is evident in our pursuit of Porro
Of course Conte isn’t blameless on the pitch but I’m afraid we are and he is already consumed by the culture and mindsets created by ENIC at Spurs for 20+ years…just like Fergie created a culture at United…he was given that reign. He was there almost 30 but his culture was a winners culture so much so that average players would become winners…at Spurs it’s the opposite culture…it’s Levy’s culture, hence why Gold turns to **** sooner or later.
nothing is changing…you can pick the next manager, you can pick his formation but that poor **** will still have to pick between Sessegnon and Ben Davies.
You’re always championing Djed Spence to start and I understand why but what I understand more is that Conte won’t pick a player Levy purchased because that sends out a very obvious statement

No Spurs fan will convince me Conte is the problem on the grand scale. Cultures need to change, Conte, Spurlock and Jose know this.
How’s he been treated like a project manager though?
He got Bentancur and Kulusevski last January.
He got Perisic, Richarlison, Bissouma and Lenglet in the summer, about £200m in total worth of signings over the last 12 months who more or less go into his first XI or challenge for a place, that’s already alongside having Kane, Son, Romero, Hojbjerg and Lloris (albeit the latter is beyond his best now). The fact Spence is likely better than other options and the manager isn’t picking him out of stubbornness is just dumb and stupid.
And now because Conte’s failing to get a tune out of them all it’s back on Levy?
The culture around the club may be that of a loser’s mentality and ENIC have definitely played a part in that but Conte’s here to change it and he’s had solid backing and now got a good squad at his disposal, many players with big personalities that have won things at other clubs or international level, so why’s Conte getting a group of top players to play such laborious football and mentally folding in all the first halves?
Got a text from a gooner mate this morning, saying Conte and Lloris both need to sign long contract extensions at Spurs

Newcastle too, they haven’t even properly flexed their financial muscle yet either and Howe’s already got them playing great stuff. Making Dan Burn look a quality defender and Almiron and Joelinton who’d been laughing stocks are now sound ballers. Conte can barely get Son and Richarlison to score a goal this season.
Richylads best season was 9 prem goals.
