Lydon’s attempt to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest…….and the words are pretty poignant when you know the story behind the lyrics

 

Another great video from Bowie before his death…..in which he wanted to show the public what he had done with his life and career.

 

Read about this today, an ode to his wife who's got Alzheimers? Is he Irish though? What's the deal with Eurovision, is it like the football team when Jack Charlton was boss, and as long as you'd owned an Irish Setter or drank a pint of Guiness you qualified?

 

I've just finished his autobiography. Both his parents were irish

 

Came across this track today....at first I thought it sounded like the start of a Sleaford Mods tune, then it progresses into some dark Post-punk vibe. No idea what they're singing about, think it's German, but I really like the sound...

Did we? No idea - last time I saw Eurovision Cheryl Baker and her pal were ripping their skirts off

 

Yeah we did and they won……saying that they seem to class them as a British Band, even though the lead singer and the Guitarist were both American…..all about what suits and gets you the win I guess

 

Well if all those foreigners can sing in languages that ain't there's then we can cheat too
