Lot of them were signed by Pearson or through the academy. So who would you get out? Only two (with Wells playing now) were bought by previous managers
What’s pissing me off, is we struggle to put two passes together.. possession is non existent.. it’s just bloody dreadful.. if NP can’t motivate these players to put some effort into this game, then there’s no point in him being there..
Wow, 1-1 Semenyo header.. what was their keeper doing!! much better after subs made. Sykes and Williams on..
Worrying, Weimann looks to be holding the back of his leg.. hope it’s not a hamstring 1-1.. much better from 70min mark. Up until then we were dreadful
So we sacrifice Weimann and Conway to achieve an FA cup draw. Let’s hope it’s not as bad as it seems.
Poor again playing three at the back and one down. Better playing 4-3-3. Time to move away from the trendy 3CB's. City have never looked any good at that over more than a few months.
Nigel Pearson sarcastically questions officials' decisions and assesses Bristol City draw The Robins were denied two blatant spot-kicks in the first half as the wait for a penalty stretched 14 months https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ws/nigel-pearson-bristol-city-verdict-8007142
I was unable to get any luck over here to find a channel covering the game and by the sounds of it I didn't miss much. The same old complaints during the match tell me that not only are we a lousy team but it looks as if Weimann could have been injured, not that he's been as good this season. It almost seems to me that the entire lot have lost the plot and have no idea what to do next, and it has been a complaint of mine for a long time that we appear to be running a holiday home for players that don't give a rat's arse about Bristol City. Where is the heart and effort that is needed because these consistently lousy performances can only lead to one thing? Relegation has to be in the minds of supporters and yet again the blokes at the top remain silent and for goodness sake don't come up with "We have faith in Nigel Pearson" because I might puke. This transfer window is the last chance saloon for Nigel and if he doesn't pull any magical rabbits out of any hats during the next 2-3 weeks then we are possibly doomed to the unthinkable. Can you imagine the other lot playing in a division higher than us as that would really make us a backwater club, if we are indeed we are not already one. Lansdown come out of hiding and at least say something, or better still actually do something before yours and our dreams go down the toilet to nowhere. Were the claims for 2 penalties realistic?
Whether we did or not (I wasn’t convinced) that was only a part of the story.. The first 70 minutes we were outplayed, couldn’t string two passes together and looked like strangers.. A header from Semenyo should have been saved by their keeper gave us the equaliser and two subs made, kick started our game.. up until then we were shocking.
Thanks for the dreadful opinion bcfcred. Looking like we have never played together before is solely down to NP, and I see he has said that he knows his job is on the line. At least he's right in that statement.
