I know nothing about bumpers (other than there's nothing to jump) but a couple look interesting just looking at the dams

Allegro Forte 7/1. The dam, Earth Amber (by Hurricane Run) is the dam of Luccia (unbeaten in 3, inc a bumper) and rated 137P by Timeform

Queen Mandana 11/1, The dam, Queen Soraya is the dam of Snow Leopardess. The sire Black Sam Bellamy was no slouch and has sired some nice ones

Interesting that you have gone for two four year olds. A four year old has never won or even been placed in the race but they are very well represented in this years renewal.

I've gone with QUEEN MANDANA on the basis of the connections record with 4 year olds.

That really is some mares bumper at Ludlow tomorrow. Had an ew dabble on BELLE SAINT but really is a race to watch with notebook in hand.

Very nice card in general with some really interesting runners and competitive races.

Didn't even notice their ages stick. Those sort of stats can be pretty meaningless though can't they. Depends how many have competed in the past and how good they were, and how good the older ones were. Next year the stat could be, only 1 4yo has ever won the race. I have no idea what chance these have <laugh>

One of those interesting runners I mentioned in the next at Ludlow - Rich Ricci's Fire Dancer has been off the track for 815 days. Moved to Venetia Williams about a month ago so not sure how much she can have done with him? She's put a tongue tie on anyway.

That was a lovely performance from Fire Dancer (Charlie Deutsch was a bit too relaxed near the finish) - beautiful looking animal too.
