I wouldnt massively be bothered if he didnt leave or did come back after a loan spell. He's still our second top scorer.
My preference is for him to stay. He's a player who makes you excited when on the ball and that's why I go every week. But if Liam isn't going to utilise him for understandable reasons, I want the club to get their money back.
Beşiktaş has come a long way in terms of Ozan Tufan. Black and whites continue their talks with both Hull City and the player's representative, Mirsad Türkcan. The transfer may become official in the coming days. 8:04 PM · Jan 4, 2023 from İstanbul, Türkiye

Very good player but I don't think he suits English football and then it's how to do we fit him in without being completely overrun in midfield. It's a shame but getting his wages off the wage bill and the fee recouped too is good business.
Seem to remember Hernandez getting his fair share of stick. Now he's the benchmark. It is the way things are.
There was one game ( I think it was against Bury - or it might have been Leyton Orient - at home) where Billy had been knocking their centre halves around all afternoon. We were 1-0 up with about 5 minutes left. Tony Norman booted the ball upfield and the two centre halves parted like the red sea to let Billy have a clear run on goal - he duly smashed it home and we won 2-0. We went up that season from the old Div. 4 (League 2 as it is now)
This is why I didn't understand the "Hernandez would have more goals than Oscar in this team" comment when Oscar is on pace to match Hernandez's goal tally when the latter was in a far superior side. Suggests Oscar has a bit about him..
He's already made 3 PL appearances for them this season, not sure he needs a further taste if he's about to pop up to 'Ull.
The " /s " in my post denotes sarcasm. Someone suggested 'all other' journalists were reporting it as a done deal, which is exactly my point, it wasn't true.
A loan with option makes more sense from an FFP point of view if we're preparing to sell him at a loss. If we sell him at a loss this month then it makes our FFP position worse, not better.
Agree. Seen many a foreign player get disheartened and give up but never got that impression with him. Always seemed to appreciate the fans as well
