Its the FA Cup 3rd Round again. A chance for the minnows to join the State-sponsored giants for a couple of rounds before it morphs into the PL Knockout Cup.
The Prediction Competition will also be knockout once the number of players = the number of teams left in it. So hopefully, if we can get more than 16 players we will run it as a league for Rounds 3 and 4, with the player top playing 16th in 5th Round, 2nd vs 15th etc. If we have more than 16 players anyone finishing below 16th will be eliminated after 4th Round.
For now all you need to know is:
1. 1pt for correct result OR 2pts for correct goal difference OR 5pts for correct score. No points for first scorers in 3rd and 4th rounds but 3pts for first scorer in knockout phase.
2. This year there are replays in 3rd and 4th rounds if level after 90mins so its possible to predict a draw.
3. I will post replayed games for new predictions.
4. For replayed games and 5th round onwards prediction will be after extra time if it goes to a replay so draws are still possible
5. I will come up with random tiebreakers for each knockout round
6. Where league points are level after 3rd and 4th rounds position will be decided on number of correct scores
