Can’t believe it was 22 years ago. I was sitting in the Bob Bank and when Leeds scored, one of their supporters jumped up and started cheering. Suffice to say he was soon relocated for his own well-being!
It was probably the best atmosphere I’ve ever encountered at a football game and I disagree with all the hype by the media that it was as violent as was suggested. I’ve witnessed a lot worse.

It would be great to replicate that score (2-1 by the way Sparkey in case you’ve forgotten) :emoticon-0105-wink: but I fear that with the squad we have now the only supporters celebrating will be from Leeds.

Fair play to our club for keeping the ticket prices low and with a large away support it should be another great atmosphere. Looking forward to it.

It was one heck of an atmosphere. I was in the lower grandstand seating nearest the Grange End.

Plenty of stuff being thrown on the Grange End and plenty aimed towards Sam Hammam when he went walkabout behind the Leeds goal...

Will definitely do a trip down memory lane on the Matchday thread when I get to it.

Anyone here old enough to remember the 1950’s freaky series of FA Cup ties with Leeds? They were drawn together in the 3rd round in 3 consecutive seasons at the same ground and City won all 3 games 2-1.

I see Leeds take on West Ham in a "6 pointer" relegation battle on Wednesday before they come to us on Sunday in the Cup.

No doubt they'll rest their better players for the West Ham game to preserve them for the weekend.

Would you mind pointing out these better players we have ;)

We have an absolutely clueless coach, we’re there for the taking

Sadly our days of almost being guaranteed a win against your boys are now long gone.

We lack any real creativity or goal threat and are always prone to being hit on the counter, which I believe will fall right into how your team like to play. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

To top it off, it looks like half our first choice players defensively and only genuine "quality" forward player are all injured.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see us take a rather depressing hammering on this one.
