1923 Excellent cast. Excellent all round actually. Marked down because of Jerome Flynn's terrible Scottish accent though. 7.5/10
Aldo's 10 best movies of 22 This year, imho, hasn't been great movie wise. There's been a few crackers. Mostly Indie flicks. Here's my favourites of the year. 10/ The Batman 9/ RRR 8/ TILL 7/ Top Gun, Maverick 6/ Amsterdam 5/ The unbearable weight of massive talent 4/ Everything, everywhere, all at once 3/ The Fablemans 2/ All quiet on the western front 1/ The Banshee of Inisherin Hope these meet with your approval but I'm won't be arsed otherwise.
It was indeed a mediocre year for films as Aldo says, which is why I can only come up with my best 9 (may add another if I think of one) But those that were good were very good indeed. Watched the first Knives Out on Netflix ... very good ... .. and 2 classics today (yesterday) Zulu and The Revenant...
White Noise. Watched it for Adam Driver. Utter garbage, don't waste your time 2/10. Luv will love it. The Menu - went to see this at the sineema. Excellent - dark macabre and funny, loved it 8.9/10
