I don’t see where the next points are coming from.. relegation battle.. but then we have a thirst for negative news apparently
Second to every ball, absolutely pi$$ poor. Red Robin if you think this is better than the last days of LJ, you are in cloud cuckoo land my friend, this is ferking dire!!
That stubbornness to change from Pearson is so similar to Cotterill, and sadly, so is our league position to them as well, and we know what happened then.
I just spoke to my mate, a WBA fan (went to the away game with him), and he said the difference between getting “ a younger, dynamic manager is the way to go. Compared to the dinosaur we started the season with (Bruce)”, and he’s 100% right, the likes of Pearson and Bruce are out of date and touch for me in the era the game is now. He has to go!
Disappointing, but wholly predictable result First time we’ve lost a home game on Boxing Day since 1963 apparently Attendance not published yet but it looked pretty sparse on Sky sports
Unfortunately I think if we lose the next two games we won’t have any choice.. I’m not sure what’s out there that is good or would want to come.. sorry what that thirst for negative news!!
Knowing SL, he will replace him with Steve Bruce I would much rather we went with a younger manager who wants to try new things at a club (a bit like LJ did), rather than another old has been manager. No doubt some on here will be calling for Warnock though…..
Bristol City are now a team that is totally lost with absolutely no sign of being able to improve. We are devoid of all ideas and fight coupled with a manager that I think has officially lost the plot and despite all of his past experience doesn't look capable of formulating some kind of plan to stop the ship sinking below the waves. West Brom changed their manager after a bad start and are now enjoying a revival under Corboran, which goes to show how much a new brain with fresh ideas and formations behind the bench can do. Pearson for me has reached his expiry date, but I can't see Lansdown pulling the plug, and I think we need a complete refresh before the safety valve on our Championship tenure explodes. All the usual excuses won't help us in our hour of need and the blame game is about as useless as a hat rack to a moose. Who would come in to sort out the wheat from the chaff is anyone's guess but given our less than stellar history I don't expect top class candidates. The days of the Pearsons, Allardyces and Warnocks have gone the way of the dodo and we need a replacement that plays the game from the 21st century and not the 80's otherwise we will fall even further from grace.
Wow I’m amazed Must have been a lot of West Brom fans then as behind the goal at the old East End it looked very empty
