We're not at that stage yet. I think it is more the player's fault in terms of confidence, form
and
execution of team orders rather than the coach or overall tactics. Kiko was better on Saturday but still utterly devoid of confidence. He does seem to be a favourite which could be JG's downfall if he doesn't mix things up and results continue to not go our way. Still with City, Arsenal and wolves to come it's difficult to see where the first win will come from. We continue to make chances but we're not taking them as we did last season... when we cease to make chances then we'll be in trouble.

The Pozzo's tend to change managers during international breaks when they have someone lined up. Javi is still there so I guess they are giving him a bit more time, I hope so to at least how he does with Welbeck and Saar.

Looks as though half of your post was correct Scully.

Another ‘just for the record’:

Only 17 of the 24 clubs in our division changed manager in 2022. Bloody impatient Watford.

But we do seem to have 2/3 a year .

Hopefully that will change .

Doesn’t help when our own fans question the manager after about 5 games - the same ones who then probably complain we get rid of then too soon .
