Oh, that bit. I thought you meant their concentrating on his goal tally, that is mostly from League One. Don't know why, but I just didn't spot that at all.
Guly is ace. People get frustrated because it isn't always obvious what he does. The importance of his contributions are there for all to see, but they are not always about a 90 minute contribution. Recall another enigmatic character being like that once.
Yeah, name escapes me at the moment, who you're referring to, at the moment. Wasn't he a luxury player..?
Silly comparison to make. Yes he's plying well at the moment but Guly is playing championship football here and only being doing well 5 minutes, Le Tissier had a great career at the top level
Oh, I really think he's aware of that. Guly just has a bit of the Le Tiss swagger about him, that's all.
I worried about where Guly was going to fit into our side this season, but he's cemented himself a starting role and has been top notch. Great player.
Think Fatletiss was making the point they were both enigmatic characters on the pitch, both being capable of moments of brilliance if maybe not contributing for the full 90mins. No comparison between them both when it comes to ability and loyal service to Saints.
The two players surely should not be compared.......Le tiss never came back to help the defence he would have been hopeless if he had. Guly runs himself into the ground and causes a nuisance all over the park.
I was well out of the loop yesterday with a stomach bug, so was pleased with the result, managed to wake up long enough to see the League Show and as usual our coverage was minimal, so it was hard to form an overall opinion , four more good goals, we dozed off early in 2nd half, and after the Jukebox goal, the 2nd was a bit lucky when Fonte's intended clearance hit Richardson and dropped kindly for them, but once back in the groove there never seemed to be any doubt who would win and De Ridders goal was a bonus. Onward, upward. Time for a few days rest to recharge the batteries and a surge up to Christmas.
I would sing ''Ee aye, ee aye, ee aye oh, Up the football league we go...'' But I can't, it doesn't make sense. WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE
Well, I guess when we are doing so well, pedantry is about that is left, if you don't want to come across as being awfully smug.
Travelled to cov good result 1 st half. We dominated then they suprised us 2 half but dug in another three points bring on Brighton
