I'm still seething over the twat in black's lack of performance.

In any other job he would be sacked for gross misconduct.

By the way I've never seen a league game lino wearing gloves before.

Well seeing the TV highlights it’s clear it was a penalty and a red card for Madine.

Looking back again in the game our was our manager at fault for not changing it when Blackpool did? Their 2 subs and a change to lumping it up worked whilst Hudson just watched as his overworked and knackered 2 man midfield faded and we were far less attacking after the hour.

Stating that though we should have been so far ahead at the break none of the above should have been relevant.

Fair points Nin. Their subs made a big difference especially down their left. Romeo was often trying to deal with 2 players once our subs arrived as defence is not a strong point for Philogene.

Good job they didn't realise Nkounkou on the left can't defend either. <doh>

I will try to watch the EFL Show repeat at 12 to view those 2 incidents although there were others showing the ref's total incompetence.

Blaming the officials for lost points can sound like sour grapes especially when we got away with two reasonable penalty shouts against Kipre from Andy Woolmer at Stoke, but that referee's performance yesterday was easily the most inept I've sat through.

The simulation yellow card for Robinson when he was clearly brought down by their keeper was ridiculous. He bottled the penalty award because as well as that, he'd have to consider giving the keeper a red card for denying a goalscoring opportunity as last man.

Haven't seen any replays/close ups of that Madine stamping but even though it was on the opposite side of the pitch to me, it looked an obvious red card offence. He went for the easy route and used yellow option so there'd be no automatic red card review - he bottled it again.

Apart from those two blatent cop outs, he missed "strategic" fouls all over the pitch. He chose to ignore Etete being manhandled in the box several times. Once in particular in the second half was so obvious but he chose to look the other way rather than award the penalty.

Bottom line is we should have been out of sight at half time. I don't know what it is about Harris but he doesn't tick the boxes for me. Impressive in his hard running but no end product. Gavin Whyte was another one. Loads of effort but made some bad decisions when the obvious pass was on. Etete and Robbo looked good.

Saw TV this morning. Absolute nailed on red for donkey Madine. The sh1te of a ref should be reported for a truly terrible display.

From TV I couldn't tell if the keeper touched Robinson but why would he dive when he had an open goal? Sparkey summed that up well.

The ref will get dogs abuse if we see him again. His warm up will be interesting.

No problem just now with ref awarding pen to Argentina. Obvious trip. Hope the twat from yesterday is taking notes.

Just a quick report to draw a line under that Madine stamp on Ng.

Apparently the FA can take no retrospective action because the referee spotted it and decided to give Madine just a yellow - so that's the end of that.

Earlier in the season, Madine was given a retrospective 3 match ban for violent conduct. He did much the same thing deliberately standing on the ankle of a Blackburn player. It wasn't spotted by the ref at the time, but subsequent video evidence was sufficient for the FA to impose the ban.

These rules need to change - if he's done something dangerous and not been properly punished, why the difference?

    Ridiculous rule.
Blackpool should do the job of the FA and sanction him.
Plus the FA should ban the referee.
