Regarding the first point, I really think it's time that the clock was stopped every time the game stops, with no added time at the end of games. This would reduce the amount of unlawful time wasting (e.g. players pretending to be injured when they're not) but shouldn't affect what I would call legitimate ways of running down the clock, like taking the ball into the corner.
Both codes of Rugby have done this for a long time and it works perfectly, so don't expect football to follow suit.:headbang:

Difficult start by England, but they overcame it and lead 2-0 at ht.
Two really good goal

Comfortable 3-0 win.

France on Saturday will be a difficult game

Yep, it was enough in the end and England remains unbeaten by an African national team, but it could so easily have been an uphill battle. Why did it take them 30 minutes + to wake up and actually stretch Senegal a bit? Once they were opened up the first time, the writing was on the wall. It was almost a carbon copy of the Wales game, only starting to carve them up a bit earlier.

I loved the carnival atmosphere created by the Senegal fans - I could watch them for the full 90 minutes

Brazil and Ho!land on their way home now. Croatia for the cup?
In five games Brazil scored just three goals. Ok, conceded just one.

I turned on hesgoal.com to watch the cricket. It has been "seized" in USA as illegal. Have to find alternate to watch City and England football tonight. Why couldn't they leave it til after the world cup. Any suggestions for alternate streams gratefully accepted. :emoticon-0121-angry
