Apparently we and WBA are tracking Villa defender Lamare Bogarde for a loan in January. Why? At 18 is he going to be better for us than our existing players? Or are we playing the long game, hoping for a permanent switch later?
Apparently we have to share it with Werder Bremen though:https://www.pinkun.com/news/23176335.norwich-city-canaries-due-world-cup-payment-fifa/
Hopefully £200k or so from FIFA to the transfer kitty.

"What complicates matters, however, is that compensation will be paid to all clubs players have appeared for in the last two years. In Sargent’s case, that includes German side Werder Bremen, from whom City bought the American in the summer of 2021."

Michael Bailey in The Athletic (yesterday)That seems a curious one considering that Idah is fit again.
So is the takeaway there that it's unlikely Idah can manage two games in a week?"Idah, a 21-year-old international striker, has endured a torrid two years through various long-term injuries and Smith acknowledged his medical staff now treat the academy product as “a joint-compromised athlete” meaning his physical load will need to be managed as he “gets a bit of fluid on the knee every now and then”. Fluid on the knee derailed Hayden's recovery, requiring surgery to fix.So is the takeaway there that it's unlikely Idah can manage two games in a week?
At least our physios have experience with Tettey's knee issues, which they handled well. Bit concerning for Idah though.
