The boy is said to have a history of "disturbing behaviour", including swinging a puppy around by its tail when he was four.

His family told police he filled a balloon with flammable liquid and set it alight, causing an explosion that burned furniture and the carpet.

When questioned by his family, the boy said he hears imaginary people talking to him.

Defo serial killer in the making.

Think I often look at this sort of stuff, bearing in mind he is only 10, where did they learn some of the disturbing behaviours from. I'm of the view that it started more than just in their head. In regards to the gun, again not the kids fault the choice of weapon, in the same way it wouldn't be a choice for a British kid - it's no different then in recent years giving our coppers tazers, if you supply the device they are going to use it.

I know nothing about this kid's situation but if I was to hazard a guess I would say he probably received an emotionless upbringing or emotionally distant upbringing from his parents. Maybe even childhood trauma.

I accept that's largely based on a lifetime of serial killer documentaries but some of the markers are there. Torturing animals, arson, all at an early age, no remorse, psychopathic tendency, all typical of it.

No 10 rules out law change for return of Parthenon marbles

No plans to amend legislation that could stop removal back to Greece, after secret talks held over their future.

I've still got mine...
