A great Giroux effort scores another goal, but ref had already whistled the play down for an apparent non-foul on keeper after he punched ball out. Mark Clattenburg indicated ref should have played on and waited for the VAR review of the incident. All France now.

France don't look invincible...if England scrape through tonight they could give them a good game if they can turn it on against them....although Mbappe will give our midfield and defence something to worry about.....and ask I speak, he scores another

Southgate should've picked Milner, with the sole purpose of ending Mbappe in the 1st minute should we play them ! Lack of planning there lol

Mbappé certainly looked invincible in this match, he can score and make plays. Lewandowski was lucky that Lloris was off the line for the first of those two stupid penalty attempts.

He’ll get on, Southgate has an embarrassment of riches up front and switching them in and out creates even more problems for the opposition.
Absolutely, but strikers who are on form really want to start. I would prefer him to score a brace in the first half, than come on in the second at 0-0.
Hopefully, we get in front and stay there!

Saka scored two last time he started……have to say Rashford is the epitome of the fickleness of fans. He’s been absolutely dire for ages, finally got some form in the last few weeks, and now he is our best player and indispensable……

…..having said all that I’d prefer him to Saka as well, but not by much.
