Pakistan 60/0 from 19 overs........ going at this rate they'll have to bat 150 odd overs just to avoid the follow on.......
Pitch is doing absolutely nothing, so if they don't play any silly shots no reason why Pakistan won't do it
This might explain why..... The stadiums need renovation and the pitches need to be relayed perhaps.
Safety. In 2009 terrorists tried to kill the Sri Lankan team when on tour in Pakistan. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_attack_on_the_Sri_Lanka_national_cricket_team
The way this is going Pakistan could be batting for the next 2 days and we will be batting day 5 to save the Test lol. Yiu know your struggling to take a wicket when Joe Root has bowled your best bouncer ! This wicket is a road
Cheers, seems a long sentence considering other sporting events taking place in countries where they should be nowhere near, although I guess the Sri Lankan cricket team would say differently
Stokes does his usual Sunday league shot and throws his wicket away. He's fantastic when he plays his natural game, but is terrible when he tries to force it. He could have played normally and scored at a run a ball.
Harry Brook going beautifully again. What a player he is. Stokes needs to rein himself back a bit. The rest of the team manage to score at 6 or 7 an over without trying to smash every ball. The range of shots these batters have now is incredible.
Pitch still not doing much, so really tricky to know, although might not actually get the opportunity to declare now Brook is out. I would plump for 380 as a totally random out.
Seems England have declared, setting Pakistan 343 to win, which is very gettable on this pitch. Light will play a part.
343 in 4 sessions on the flattest of flat tracks with an ultra rapid outfield. England would do that easily. All down to mentality. A positive result either way on this pitch would be something of a miracle, and entirely down to the Bazball/kamikaze modern England approach. Fingers crossed.
