Outside lights and tree going up.

That's my afternoon taken care of.

 

Not doing the outside lights, **** paying those prices for the neighbours pleasure.

 

This isn't a Griswald situation, it's a couple of strings round the outside tree and a festoon over the car port.

Not too expensive on the power at all.

 

i've found this thing called the internet and on it you can shop from home so avoiding the horror that is Christmas shopping .
Suggest you try it i'm sure you will like it .

Blokes on stilts dresses as lamposts, santa singing live with elf band behind.
Loads of tatt on the stalls and people giving out leaflets for womens rights fir some reason.

I think it should be law that every household makes an effort. A small string of lights somewhere outside your property would bring festive cheer!
I love to see the houses that make an effort, as you say it doesn’t have to be a Griswald situation.

 

Lots of candles and battery lights for me this year.

Anything mate. I put a single string of coloured lights around my porch as that’s about it. It just adds something for the time of year.

 

Going to a 70’s fancy dress party in a while. The fancy dress I got has a bloody great opening at the front of the shirt for the “hairy chest” bit and it’s bloody freezing out. I wonder if they will notice my “hairy chest” looks very much like a black t-shirt!
