There used to be a chant that went 'His nose is offside, his nose is offside, someone or other, his nose is offside'. How long before we see some some poor bastard with a decent sized conk looking the wrong way and being pinged for just that?
Good job VAR wasn't around when Kevin Hird used to play for us then.
On a serious note, the only way to do it is draw the lines at the feet.
I hate VAR and wish it was scrapped.

I played against Kevin Hird in the late 90's. He was still turning out for a local side well in to his 50's. He was some player even then.

Exactly. We haven't had a decent team since the WC in, what, 2004, in Germany? Bit more luck and we could have had that one. Never since.
Yep, apart from the result obviously, I really enjoyed the cup game against wolves with no VAR in use. Game flowed just like the old days.
Probably the only thing fifa got right mate if they've not bothered with English referees, they're the worst in the world

Not surprising that. They didn’t want the useless ****s taking half an hour over every decision.
