I'm really not. I'm always on a tangent. And I've already stated I was unaware of bananas being chucked at games, hence the sugestion he was perhaps conflating the two things. Why can't you accept that racism is unacceptable in football whether in the stands or simply linked to football on social media?
Where have I have said it is acceptable? I merely said that no bananas were thrown at England players at the Euros. And they weren’t. If he had said they had suffered online abuse I would have said it was completely unacceptable. You don’t know me or who I know when you come out with this racism stuff. If you did you would be quiet.
You did say that initially so why the **** are we arguing? I didn't ever say bananas were chucked at games. Neither did Lambo. Learn to read eh?
It’s not even on wiki, Erik’s just photoshopped it on his image. The One Love armband is “to promote inclusion and send a message against discrimination of any kind”, a message that every right thinking individual should agree with.
They will if enough moolah comes their way. Though being right minded is not something people would accuse FIFA of. Infantino has said he wouldn’t mind if North Korea was awarded a World Cup.
Look very very decent the yanks. As they should, got some quality players playing all over Europe. Come a long way since dozy Jozy was their main man!
I put it alongside the black nationalist flag to show the similarity. The armband was clearly created with it in mind. It's not a rainbow, unless it's intended to be a rainbow as seen by somebody with severe brain damage and partial loss of vision. I don't believe that anybody requesting, or tasked with creating, a flag to [ostensibly] promote inclusion would be unaware of the flag shown in the Wiki article. It's quite well-known and such flags are regularly flown by African Americans, Afro-Caribbeans and African diaspora around the world. Utilising the colour scheme as they did was quite obviously intentional, and trotting out a line about 'promoting inclusion' won't change that.
Maybe they should have an armband based on a symbol widely used by Hindus, Buddhists and others. To make it inclusive have it in black white and red?
