Back on topic, a few pundits stirring things up, saying they want Wales to finish bottom of the group.
    Some youtuber too.
Pundit Jason Cundy (who?) wants Wales to lose 5-0 afainst USA in our opening game

    Yma o hyd.<cheers>

In other news Qatar have reneged on the agreement to let beer be sold in the grounds. Budweiser not amused.
With a beer (less than a pint) costing £12 in the fan zone, not sure how high demand would be.

£12 for a plastic beaker of watery fizzy liquid.

Mind you that just under half of what the same stuff costs at CCS:emoticon-0138-think

Far cry from 5 pints of Dark with a few pennies change from a quid!!

Seems to be a lot of "hatred" for team Cymru from the English pundits.
Agbonlahore was another and Danny Murphy has said something along the lines of England could put out 3 sides better than our 1st team.

Thing is, most of it is coming from ex-players who's careers weren't exactly stellar and so I can only assume it's just them trying to get themselves air time in the hope of getting more work due to their "shock" value.

I've no issues with English pundits saying they want to beat us... I don't even have a problem with them saying they want us to fail to get out of the group, but they could do with dialling down the hyperbole a little.

We had it during Euro 2016 and we all know how much egg they finished up with in their faces after that tournament.... Though they won their "final" against us in the group (not that it did them much good in the long run).

That's another thing that is probably in the backs of their minds.... Psychologically they are probably a little worried about little old Wales upsetting the applecart again and upstaging them.

Just doing final checks here in the Brizzle household before heading to the airport and Gran Canaria.
Mrs Brizzle and Brizzle junior are also in tow of course.

You must be a bit older than me Nin, 48p for a pint of Dark in the Brittania in Porth when I started supping it.

Probably a bit of jealousy from many because they didn't get to go to a WC. How can these pundits like Cundy have played in the top division have not gone when these championship players are.

The threat of an upset must be worrying as well.

The thing is, England always go to these tournaments with high expectations.
We've won just by being there and will enjoy the ride, no pressure.

A day of rugby today, then attentions will turn to the footy.

Well done Brizzle. Ignore the noise from elsewhere. Our boys will go about their business and whatever will be will be.

You're obviously a good boy going to see to your gran's canary.

    Have fun.

Watched the three episodes of Together Stronger- fantastic tv.
Something to be said for having a manager who’s Welsh.

Have they spelled the aforementioned pundits name correctly?

    Surely there should be a "t" not a "d"?

Really quite moving at times. Watching Rambo get choked up when talking about Speedo says everything about the bond the team have.

Hopefully that passion and bond continues to be passed on from generation to generation.
