If he thinks 3000 years worth of history shows nothing but oppression by European countries against everyone else he needs to educate himself better. Perhaps he should learn a bit more about the history of slavery and the relationship between European and Arab nations.
Some Islamic nations didn't even abolish the practice until the middle of the C20th, and their attitudes to women and minority groups are backward to this day.

Frankly I think fifa settled with usa over nailing blatter and giving them world cup in 2026. They know if they took the world cup off Qatar they'd be sued to death, thry know they have to balls this out til its done and then basically just hope it dies down and everyone forgets.
