Proverbs 18:2 NCV Fools do not want to understand anything. They just want to tell others what they think.
Ah yes, one of your holjy trinity that excuses everything ... ... 'We'd have got away with wrecking the economy if it wasn't for that pesky Covid.' The Bank of England says Brexit has harmed us. That's a fact, something you can't handle, hence the endless deflections.
I've just posted a direct quote about Brexit. Totally ignored because it doesn't fit the agenda. Today's the day we find out how much we have to pay for Truss's disastrous budget ... ... we're all going to suffer according to Hunt, he won't.
So five million people became economically inactive because of Brexit, six and three years ago respectively, but it's only now, a year after COVID, that it's affecting us? Fools do not want to understand anything indeed. They just want to shout 'tories bad' at everything and get a pat on the back for it.
If you actually read the quite there's clearly two separate issues. Brexit harmed us. Covid affected us. Are you saying the BoE is wrong and Brexit hasn't harmed us? "Britain is suffering worse economic performance than its rivals because of Brexit and a stark drop in the size of the workforce since the Covid pandemic, the governor of the Bank of England has said."
Nope. It's a combination of factors. There was always going to be an effect from Brexit as everything was reorganized (and not necessarily by very capable people). It's the additional pressure from COVID and Ukraine that's tipped the balance. Two things any government would have had zero control over. If you want to view it through a purely Tory-hating lens, fair enough. You'll never learn anything though. I prefer to understand why things happen. Otherwise you end up tribal, reactionary and stupid. My side good, everyone else bad. Oh no, I've written an explanation rather than yes/no. That'll be deflection again. Yes. Yes. Yes. No.
Yes, that's what he said, a combination of factors including Brexit. Brexit has harmed us, fact. Acknowledging that doesn't ignore other issues or mean you hate Tories. You can't absolve the Tories of all blame based on the idea that people hate them.
Cabinet members, MPs and PMs don't suffer from losing their job. They do a Steve Bruce, cop a big payoff and walk straight back into another post. Truss is made for life having wrecked the economy.
She'll become a handy 'one size fits all' excuse for everything that's gone wrong in the last twelve years.
Of course it includes Covid, during which multi-millions was simply burned or thrown away. That's undeniable and the Tories were to blame.
