Nowt wrong with Mrs doubtfire. I've known my club to give refunds on about two ocassions, fair enough as a goodwill gesture, but I don't really agree it should be an expectation. The lower leagues wouldn't survive long with a policy of refunds.
Bizarrely, odeon gave us our money back a few years ago (Fat Slags: The Movie. Google it!) The weirdest part was we didn’t even ask for a refund. The manager just stood at the back, and as we walked out he gave us all credit notes to take the till.
