So, Rosie is an 'incredibly equipped man', according to Acun. If he knows about that, then the appointment process must have been a lot, lot more detailed than usual...
I’ve seen them a few times this season, they are playing a 2-3-5, two half backs in defence, hitting long balls to wingers to run on to and rapid counter attacks.
Yes, but could they do it in front of the swaying masses in a febrile MKM? They might freeze. Don’t forget, jumping up and down is dangerous and potentially lethal in the upper tier where just standing up is dangerous..
Notice the lack of stewards? Yet no fatalities or horrific injuries like we are told would happen if anyone stood up in West Upper.
I wonder how much trouble they actually have at games over there, I know it was bad in years gone by, but no idea these days
Don’t know but we have acres of segregation at the MKM and stewards everywhere and, uniquely, stood between our own fans. Remember watching a documentary about Turkish football a few years ago. All shouting and gesticulating at each other, calling each other all sorts and dishing out insults but nothing happening. Then it all kicked off big style. One lot had shouted at the other that their mothers drank alcohol.
Interesting read about what goes on at Greek games with the connivance of the police and even the teams letting their buses be used to help their hooligans. https://greekreporter.com/2022/02/06/football-hooligans/
It's a bit odd if true, but the "weapons" that the team buses are allegedly taking in to the stadium for the hooligans are "flares and smoke bombs". I think it might be a little misleading by the article talking about stabbings and a slow criminal justice system, then going straight into the next paragraph about the club smuggling in smoke bombs. It sounds a bit like the way the HDM go on about crowd violence by City fans after a flare goes off in the away end at the MKM.
Listening to Liam speak is just so refreshing , whatever ideas he has at least he'll be able to communicate them to the players.
