Totally. He got someone from the crowd shouting at him in Boro on Friday. He had them in his pocket in seconds! Very sharp. Brilliant comedian. Definitely go and see him again
As a child in the early 80s I used to love watching Cannon & Ball. Double act since then that I've liked are Reeves & Mortimer. Still like them both now as they've gone their separate ways. Bob Mortimer is brilliant as a guest on other shows.
I could beat them until they were unconscious and hang around until they came to so I could start again I've still no idea what it is they actually do tbh.
Norman Wisdom thought he was always funny. Enjoyed just about all those that @Gordon Armstrong listed must be of a similar era Dave Allen Laurel & Hardy, Curley, Larry & Mo 3 stooges.
They didn't even like each other So bad they remain the only act the Queen ever booed at the Royal Variety Show.
Well no I didn’t. I did say just about all those that @Gordon Armstrong listed. I Remember my parents taking us to Blackpool to see them. Didn’t really enjoy them then and never thought that they were really that funny.
Laurel and Hardy...simply the best....timeless comedy. Also loved Hale and Pace, made some great sketches. Finally Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse, very talented
I seen Cannon and Ball around 1983ish. I was in Scarborough and got given two tickets so thought "why not"? They were brilliant, way better than I expected.
