    Match Preview;
Coventry have 7 wins, 5 draws, 6 losses so far this season. They have scored 19 and conceded 18, with Viktor Gyökeres their top scorer on 7 goals. They've already won three times in November, beating Blackburn then Watford then Wigan. A run which has seen them move to 12th in the division, only 5 points from the playoffs. Their manager, Mark Robbins, has been very impressive since taking over the then League Two side, in 2017. In his first full season in charge he won the League Two playoffs, and the following year finished 8th in League One. In the 2019/20 season, Coventry only lost 3 games, and were promoted back to the Championship as League One champions. In the last two seasons they have finished 16th and then 12th.

As for us, time to turn things around after two very disappointing results. The losses against West Brom and Huddersfield have really knocked the wind from our sails, and wrecked any momentum that was being built. We are still in the playoffs thanks to earlier good form, but anything less than a win and surely we'll slip down the table, potentially right down to 11th! Changes are needed, and your guess is as good as mine as to how we'll line up, but most importantly, we need to find that spark again, and get Willock/Chair/Dykes linking up again in the way that worked so effectively only a few games ago.

    Team News
QPR: Luke Amos, Stefan Johansen and Tyler Roberts are all out. Sinclair Armstrong and Leon Balogun could return.

Coventry: Gus Hamer should be okay after picking up a knock against Wigan in midweek, while Michael Rose is a doubt. But Fantasy Dabo, Liam Kelly, Matty Golden, Martyn Waghorn are all definitely out.

    Pre-match Talk
Mick Beale (QPR head coach): “Coventry are a huge threat, but it’s the ideal game for us to respond.

“This season has been a rollercoaster of emotions for them, they are in good form, but we know that things in this league can change very quickly. It will be a tough game, an open one and I am looking forward to it and will be looking for a reaction from a disappointing couple of games.”

    As always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

You'd think so, but never an easy journey home when we lose, even from my lounge to the bedroom. So let's hope it's a win, ok Bwood.

Dave, mate. That picture looks like it has more car spaces than seating. Nice open spaces. The next "Woodstock" could easily be held there.

I'll take your word for that Bwood. I've never been to England so wouldn't know.
But then again Woodstock was on a ****ty old dairy farm in upstate New York, about 40 miles from Woodstock itself. So should be on par.

Just kidding Bwood. But not about a QPR win.
We keep losing to bottom placed teams.
Now that Cov. is playing like a top six team, we should take them by the balls and kick them into their own onion sack.
    (Fingers crossed) :emoticon-0107-sweat

We could probably use a repeat of this rather special own goal.

    Agree Highball.
By the way we're playing, an own goal or handball is the only way we're going to get a goal.
    Will take it anyway. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Got hooked when I saw the great Stanley Bowles back in the seventies. Used to watch something called Star Soccer on Sunday mornings at my neighbour's (we didn't have a colour TV back then). Neighbour was, and still is, a scouser supporter.
I guess you can't choose your neighbours, but I was hooked by the colours.
Like LSD for a kid back then. :p

Never been there but awful close. Donkey's years ago, long before you were born, was working on my first overseas job as a youngster in Miri, northern Sarawak, then a British colony. Every Saturday, used to listen on my trusty Pye radio to Australian horseracing programmes. Always thought then in those far-off days that Aussie commentators were the best in the world. It was not until the great Peter O'Sullevan came along that the UK had a top-class and knowledgeable commentator, and he was superb, really was. Owned one or two decent racehorses too, e.g. Be Friendly being one of them.

Good to talk to you. Although gloomy days for the R's, let's hope this World Cup break can bring a change in fortune for the club. Sure hope so.

Fk me, you've brought back memories.
Forgot that Pye made radios/ TVs etc. Even my head of school at uni. was called Mr. Pye. :emoticon-0126-nerd:
Don't know much about race callers. Not into gambling (I like to keep any money I've earned, so I am able to pay it back to the government with all their taxes, levies, GST and other fancy terms they may come up with to suck the blood from our anaemic bodies).

Thanks for your sentiments mate. Good chatting with you too.
And likewise, hope we see both our teams in the Prem. next season.
FYI, I support QPR, so used to the gloominess. :undecided:

Thanks Trammers. I remember that now.
Was wondering why a Swans supporter had strayed onto our board.
But then again good old Taff makes regular visits. And just as convivial as our Welsh pal.
