Maybe they thought it was his way of complaining about the cost of petrol. The fact he decided to express his disdain at a processing centre was just sheer bad luck.
Just my own personal thoughts, but I believe if something becomes targeted, there is a reason for it. By that I mean someone regardless of MH problems don't drive all the way from High Wycombe to commit a targeted act, unless there was another motive beyond MH behind it. An example would be, do you ever remember that child which was lobbed off a balcony at some museum, can't remember exact details, but that's what I would deem as a random act of mental illness - it happened merely in a moment of time - unless they can prove the person preplanned it. So for example that guy had petrol bombs, so it had to be preplanned, hence it's terrorism.
That's a good point. Premeditated goes a long way to defining terrorism. I remember the one at the art gallery iirc. He was a sick **** n' all but like you say for different reasons.
Yup. Obviously it's not meant as an exact science what I say, but it's a starting block to defining something.
Politcally motivated in my view is a form of terrorism. So again for example, I hate Tony Blair, if I went and killed him, would it be my mental health or terrorism, in my view it would be the latter, regardless if I've got a history of MH problems. Yes an illness may have contributed to you going as far as killing someone, but it's still terrorism because my intentions were politically motivated. So another example of that is the guy that killed that female MP. Again, that's just my personal opinion.
I dunno mate, wouldn't it depend on why you killed him? If it's bcos he caused an illegal war then yes, if it's because he's a dickhead then no.
If I killed him it would be because of the war in Iraq, so terrorism on my part. If I didn't know who he was and killed him, that would be different. I expect as evidence the police would use the content from 606 to convict me, where I've displayed my distaste of him.

If the republicans gain control of congress in the mid-terms which is looking likely then he'll defo run. He'll probably run anyway tbf but I think he wants to ride on that wave.
