As I was right next to the home fans last night, there was a twisty little bastard who was looking over and goading us with “toon toon black and white army” early in the game

Now I have no idea where he was from or who he supported, but we had his life. To the point he was nearly crying by the 90th minute!! The stewards were brilliant. Literally laughing at him for getting himself so wound up!!

Just don’t get opposing teams singing or trying to goad us about Newcastle. Especially now

It was hilarious mate, they couldn't have humiliated themselves more. As you say, they'd deliberately set themselves up to be next to us and we tortured them. @MrRAWhite and his mates had one of them so wound up his face was redder than a baboons arsehole ... but not as pretty <laugh>

But top support from some very damp Sunderland supporters who sang through the rain and a very dreary match.

Newcastle ends twinning with Chinese city amid torture claims
Are they on a wind up?

Lib Dem Wendy Taylor, who proposed the motion, said she felt Newcastle could not have a relationship with China amid the claims of "horrific abuses".

They'll get absolutely hammered from their own fans who want to ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist.

I find it strange but I don't particularly even feel the rivalry or care whether they win or lose like I used to. They're not a proper club anymore.

That's how I feel now, their results used to affect my mood to some extent but now, even if we've been beaten and I'm hacked off, if I see they've beaten Liverpool 6-0 I feel nothing. They've all but ceased to exist, which is a shame but that's how it is.

Smug said earlier that the Mags say these people are a handful of idiots. Truth is with Newcastle now there are a handful of "normal" people who follow them, the vast majority are idiots <laugh>

Only time at the match today I got pissed off, “and we played ****ing horrendous” was when our fans started stand up if ya hate the mags!!!

I don’t want them even acknowledged they really do mean nothing to me now.

I laugh at the 'keep politics out of football' comments. Bit late for that. Your club is now completely drenched in the murky world of 'politics' whether they like it or not. Blaming the protest on Sunderland fans reminds me of Iran blaming their internal protests on outside influences and enemies or Putin blaming their need of their 'special military operation' on everyone but himself. Now they have the Saudis as owners any town fans saying 'keep politics out of football' is just basically thick as ****.

It was a political move from Boris Johnson to push the deal through ...

... would he have become involved if the prospective owners were Albanian <laugh>

Just been listening to a footy program and one of them said I don’t think it will be mentioned by anybody much to be honest, the three of them then carried on for a hour talking about nothing else, I have a gut feeling that most of these tossers are in for a shock when it gets going. There’s 100’s been shot and killed in Iran over a bloody head scarf so god knows what will kick off over there.
