Daughter lived in Bermondsey when she first moved to London. On visiting for the first time I eyeballed where she was living without saying much as expected they where burgled within 3 months.

Near Tower Bridge, Bermondsey is a busy area of converted warehouses and stylish riverside flats. A hip crowd mingles in cosy pubs, eateries, and indie shops lining villagelike Bermondsey Street. Bermondsey Square hosts an antiques market. Gourmet food stalls and bars sit beneath Maltby Street Market’s railway arches. The Fashion and Textile Museum and the White Cube contemporary art gallery attract a cultured crowd.

I did a photo shoot at The Den once, on the way there we stopped in a really rough greasy spoon for some breakfast and a really camp bloke from my PR company announced that he'd like a pain au chocolate with a skinny latte.

The owner, who was merrily dropping his cig ash into the eggs he was frying at the time, thought he was taking the pis:1980_boogie_down:s and told him to get the **** out. <laugh>

Reactions: Party Hull!
Well, having a new coach at the helm it will be interesting to see what happens. Hopefully, a new coach's bounce and a performance like Rotherham's would be nice. Nevertheless, Millwall is a tough place to go, I seem to remember being at Nigel Pearson's first away game which was at Millwall and I think we got beat 4-0 if my memory is correct.

New manager bounce - I’ve gone for a City win and 3 very welcomed points. Good luck Rosie - We’re backing you.

When i was an intern* in Westminster I spoke to some old bint in parliament who asked where I was from, when I said Hull she said “you just be glad to get out then”.

I said “Not really, Hull’s a palace compared to most of this ****hole”. I lived in Newham at the time.

Needless to say i wasn’t offered a permanent position.
