W55, D26, L18. Would be brilliant if in his 100th game that win column will go up to 56.

Not too shabby a record I suppose. We've had worse managerial records <shudders>

Well, you can't compare Fergie and Lambie's careers quite like that because Fergie didn't have a great start and lots of fans wanted him out for years, but Lambert has essentially won games from the moment he arrived.

I believe that was 1990, and Fergies first trophy with Man utd.
