Take a look at this site, there's a film about the Oxford music scene, that's right Oxford. http://www.acpgthemovie.com/ Oxford is never mentioned as a music scene but when you look at the diverse bands that have been coming out of Oxford for many years it should be a city that is recognized for its music. The more famous bands are Radiohead, Supergrass, foals and Swervedriver, but there are many more. The film mainly focuses between 1984 - 2007. Take a look you may find some new bands.
