Well, looking at the comments under this Tweet, it seems that the majority of Newcastle fans now are strongly anti-gay, some even suggesting all gay people should be murdered. On a serious note, the OP has highlighted one of the cultural positives of our takeover. Clearly a lot of those replies were from middle-eastern football fans. Despite the fact that on closer examination many of their profiles show they follow other English teams and not us, the fact we're now a very high profile club means they follow our club's posts too. This exposes them to alternative points of view that they have not been exposed to before. It will be a slow process but is a vital first step in bringing about change. I think some of us did point out this possibility at the time of the takeover, as well as acknowledging the problems with the Saudi regime. Those who wanted to paint our takeover as only a bad thing said this wouldn't happen, so it's good of the OP to highlight that they were wrong and that it is happening.

As for the bollox about Yeman, The Saudi government were and still are allied to the leadership of Yeman, which was overun by terrorists (Hothi) during a civil war that broke out in 2015. It's Saudi leading a 9 country coalition from West Asia and North Africa that believe they are doing their duty as an ally by trying to re-instate the government. You know, a bit like we should be doing with Ukraine. Again - We don't hear anything about the other members of the coalition.

Yes there is innocent people being killed, yes kids have been killed......The numbers are nowhere compared to what us and the Americans did in Iraq and Afghanistan but let's not let our own issues cloud over a nice juicy story for the jealous tramps down the road to cling on to.
