It also applies that if A and Pro licences were completely arbitrary then they wouldn't now be the management standard as no-one would bother doing them.
Major Frank won’t have had one as they didn’t exist then. Neither did Busby, Shankly, Mercer, Paisley, Ferguson…
It'll mean youre at a required minimum standard. But yeah, some will progress further than others beyond that.
"Should have the fans on his side" Well there will, it seems, be a few on here looking sceptically on. And I put myself in that category, just as I was one who was initially also looking sceptically at Dawsons appointment. In Dawsons case not a lot of data to go on but with his team there has been a significant change in the approach, which Seri alluded to in todays Mail. This has led to an improvement on the pitch. Acun and Tan have taken a big leap of faith to move from something that had the green roots of a promising spring to deciding whle there is still some spring left to plough it under and re-seed. They have more guts than I have-I would have taken the easy decsion and stayed with Dawson-lets hope they have made the right decision.
Like I've said before. As long as Dawson sticks around we have an insurance policy that maybe allows them to take a risk? I'd have no issue if it was Dawson. We have 2 good candidates and if Baz is correct it looks like Daws will play a larger role than before in Rosies team so it's progression for both of them. Daws will get another chance. Whether Rosie succeeds or fails he won't be around for ever.
If you needed to worry about a new manager coming in.... read these comments from Seri today... Under Arveladze, some players, it's understood, were struggling to hit 4k, now, those figures are upwards of 12k in stark contrast to performance levels previously. "He took the team in a difficult moment, and what he is doing is brilliant, I have to say that." Seri explained. "The way he wants us to play, to press, makes sense. "In football, if you do something that doesn't make sense, you cannot go anywhere. Everything we do we have to know what we are doing, and the sense is there and that's what he's trying to do. "Under him, we're running more. Before, the four defenders were running more than the midfielders and strikers and this makes no sense, now we can see the difference. "The midfield is running more and this is helping, he keeps telling us we have to run more, we have to stay in shape and protect and defend our goal and keeper, and we scored seven goals in two games, this is not nothing."
Not sure west brom being potentially interested but ultimately deciding against means much They appointed bruce and watched him take them from playoffs to 21st Not the best led club
Not surprising. Under Shota, we looked like we didn’t have an identity or vision. Under Dawson at least, we look like a team that knows what the manager expects of them, even if we lose or play poorly. I’m gonna put it down to a language barrier as Shota isn’t the worst coach we’ve ever had but it was obvious he and the players weren’t on the same wavelength.
