Burnley are in tremendous form, have lost only once all season, and reports state that they are playing attractive, open football. Now that the season is a third of the way through they look the most likely option to suddenly steam ahead and leave the rest trailing behind. It's enviable how they have navigated a complete volte-face in playing style after the relegation last season. Hiring Kompany was a risk but it seems to have paid off.

This will not be easy and anything gained will be a bonus.

Two replies in a key game which is about to happen in around five hours. Says everything about how disconnected our fans are from the club at the moment.

Come on let’s have some positivity in here! We are still in touching distance of the top of the division with a long way to go yet. We have achieved our current position whilst being without a recognised left back or DM for the vast majority of those games. Those players are now working their way back to fitness so hopefully we can kick on.

POSITIVE VIBES!!!

ON THE BALL CITY!!!

Expecting the spoils to be shared, which would be a great result away from home against tough opposition.

Unfortunately, we have a number of inadequate players who there's no alternative to; so have to play :emoticon-0145-shake<yikes>

Pukki again!!!!!!!!!!! So, unless that's 2 upfront, we're pushing our best forward Sarg out wide :emoticon-0138-think:steam:<doh>

Pukki missed the penalty but he's also the reason we were two up. Sargent has been great this season, probably our best player, but he's done it for a third of a season, Pukki has done it for four years.

Christ that bench, not a lot of options for Smith to mix things up.

Really getting down to bare bones with these injuries now. Tough start for Tomkinson, let’s hope he’s up to it. Can’t believe McCallum has had to be rushed in out of nowhere!

Staying positive Watford Sheffield United and Burnley away on paper were our hardest games, a point last week was acceptable.

A decent performance would do tonight
