OK I will spell it out for you;
Our position shows 13th
We are one point ahead of 3 teams below us, 3 teams below them are 2 points behind, Cardiff are 3 points behind in 20th place..all have played a game less.. Coventry are in 22nd place 5 points behind and have played 4 games less.. And you're saying our league position isn't false..<laugh> wow

It isn’t false because we have those points, that’s fact. How many of those teams that are below us with games in hand have to play each other, if the games in hand are games against each other they can’t both win, even if they aren’t, whose to say they’re going to win them anyway.,there are too many variables, the only facts are we have won those points, the others haven’t .

Because they haven’t played the same amount of games, if either of the teams below us play each other, at least one would go above us.. it’s a stupid argument which you are wrong.. we are in a false position until all the teams below us and above us have played the same games that are within 3 to 4 points away depending on GD..

That may never happen, it’s very rare that every team in a division has played the same number of games, yours is a silly argument. We’d only have a valid table at the end of the season.

Maybe I just have a better judgment and live in the real and common sense part of the world.. we will see :emoticon-0103-cool:
 
It's always better (IMHO) to have points in the bag, over games in hand, but there is a risk that teams could overtake us if they win those games - it's simple maths.
All we can do is try and win the games we have in front of us. To-date so far we've been inconsistent. Other teams are putting little runs together, whereas our results have been sporadic and random.

I agree, I prefer to have the points, I was trying to be realistic being how close this league is.
