What's the current sitch?

Gooch - ??
Ballard - back after the WC
Stewart - back after the WC
Simms - back v Luton
Roberts - ??
Huggins - being eased back in, likely back after the WC

Am I missing any others?

These next 4 aren't huge, but we need to be taking min 4 points IMHO to keep us in that mid table position

Think you're about spot on with the injuries. There are a few on a ban fortheor next yellow cards as well I think.

Edit: Alese is missing from your list mate.

TM on Roberts:
“He probably hasn't played many three-game weeks, he's picked up a knock in training and was uncomfortable.
“The decision was that we didn't think it was worth losing him potentially for eight to ten weeks. We decided to give him a breather this week and give someone else an opportunity.”

Doesn't sound too bad then

Am I the only one feeling relieved we didn’t buy Simms outright, beginning to look like Jack’s love child.

Nah mate, I’m minded similar, If he’s ours I think he’d have been asked to give it a go after an injection by now.
Heard a few decent lads on here and over the road express reservations about how long it takes us to get lads code injuries these days but to be fair that seems to have been an issue for us over the decades never mind just the last couple of seasons.

Pritchard, O Nein and Clarke on 4 cards each so this is getting serious now, after the 19th game they start again as far as i know.

It's not an issue now....we're **** hot on it.
We had at least 6 players who may have been first choice Saturday.........Gooch,Ballard,Alese,Roberts,Simms and LND.....when we get them back....and Huggins aswell who some tend to forget....the future is bright.

I truly hope so!

The fact we haven't scored from a set piece, but teams do score from them against us.

Stewart and Ballad will help in set pieces not seen enough of Simms to know how good he is.

Atm Baath and 09 are the only ones who are good in the air.

We need in the interim to, when defending set pieces, to block the runs from their 'big guys.

Atm our attacking set pieces delivery is not good enough and our tactics need more thought if our one or two targets are going to tightly marked.

Here's hoping we break our duck and score a set piece next game.

We have a very strong side at this level when everyone is available and I think we can still muster a play off challenge.

Let's give the lad a chance. None of us know the full extent of the injury and it sounds like the club (possibly under instruction from Everton) are being very cautious with him. This elongated absence may not be his decision
