I actually think we have a decent squad and have proved they are capable......Down to the manager/coach to set them up and get the best out of them....
Our squad is decent mid table squad, not top 6, we are mid table so about right, which is why I sad he’s doing ok. On our day we’re a match for most teams, but the players have to play at their best. If we’re not at our best we struggle. At our level players have off days, it’s why they’re at this level., if they were able to regularly play at their best they’d be at a higher level.

I get this.
As someone who played a bit myself, I know what an ‘off day’ feels like :(
However, the manner in which we concede time and time again - from set pieces in particular - I think is more than a few players having a stinker. It’s something wrong with the coaching.
All sides will concede occasionally from set pieces - it’s part of the game, but with us it seems annoyingly regular - its replaced the late goal concession as the most infuriating bugbear for me now!!

Because the players make their own rules, according to RR, Nige doesn't coach them, so not his fault; apparently, it's all on the players. What a leader of people.....

Sometimes you hear "you dont know what your doing". I am asking because City insist on defendiing corners with a zonal line inside the six yard box. I dont know why. Its a bit weird.

Why? Anybody?

I imagine because having tried different systems in training, the one they use is the most affective.

Opposition coaches identify it as a weakness and focus on it. It then becomes a matter of confidence, it’s a difficult thing to turn around, a kind of self fulfilling problem. It’s a mind set thing as much as anything else.

Unless the teams below us win their games in hand, then we could be bottom 6...I think we have players far better than that, just that the manager isn't getting the best from them imo.. poor tactics,

If is a big word. We are mid table at present. of course at times we’ll dip lower, and others rise higher.

It’s not false, at present it’s accurate, that’s the only fact. It may or not be the same when all the games are played, using your logic no table would be accurate until all teams have played all 46 games.
mmmm Yes that's fact.....but so little points between teams, one game in hand could change positions significantly...so it's important, that to get a more accurate account of where we are at, we would have to all played the same.. If the teams behind us were 4 or more points behind I would agree with you.. As it is, it's a false reading.....:emoticon-0105-wink:

By definition when one team wins a game, another one obviously loses one, all teams cannot win all their games in hand it’s impossible, :emoticon-0105-wink:
