Cracking game, some really good football played by city of course. If anyone does not put the doc in numero uno on the MOTM thread he or she has not watched the same game, he was absolutely outstanding, hurry up and put a MOTM thread out please as I cannot wait to put my 3 on. Thought Seri was ine of the player on the pitch. When he was on he was at the heart of all of City’s many creative moves

Have to agree... Seri made it possible for everyone else to play....
The midfield 5 were all quality tonight. Seri and Woods really helped us retain possession and the doc drove us forward all night.
Think Coyles done a good job last few weeks, but I think Christie looks a much more natural fit at right back, retaining and moving the ball in tight areas.

did some nice shoulder barges too, hassled them out of possession
Docherty was outstanding. His work off the ball clearly had an impact to get the rest of the team going. But not only that, what I was most impressed with, was that he wanted to do something productive with the ball every time he got it, rather than this passing around needlessly crap. Talk about taking the game by the scruff of the neck!
Also thought Seri was exceptional. Really controlled things and his reading of the game is a level above.
