Morning, team. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Re Baaeed it wasn't to be then, was it like (cor blimey. 'was it like', that is full blown Moonraker!!!). Has defeat damaged his legacy (on the track)??? Perhaps a tad but he retires, in my view, as the best since Frankel. I guess the one remaining question is what will his '23 fee be??? A while back I said £125,000 and can still see it being around this figure.

Highlight of the racnig for me these past couple of days??? Both have to be in the old NH Sphere. Dartmouth winning with his first runner in that discipline (Sailing Grace at God's own racecourse). Will Dartmouth be the next big thing in the NH Stallion ranks??? It will probably take a few years to get a deffo answer on that but his stock, in my view, remain Positive with a capital 'P'. And, of course, Sceau Royal's win yesterday. What an amazing old top. Tear to the eye and all that...

Good luck all.

I’m guessing £75k for Baaeed. He can’t command the same fee as Frankel did in his first season as his record, as great as it is, doesn’t match up.

Re Dartmouth, he may struggle numbers-wise as his books are very small compared to the Irish horses - his books to date have numbered 63, 58, 71, 64 and 39.

In the Class-5 Nursery at Pontefract (13:30), Slingsbytoo might manage a podium finnish in this tricky 1m event. Rank outsider at 25/1 but could surprise now upped in trip? Very modest wager, and at a best price of 25/1, E/W of course.

Edit: Oh well, thought the eventual winner would be a good price, but was unable to do so with my pick who was never in it. Neil Callan certainly gets his fair share of winners, a very good jockey.

I also thought you meant 4 days to the first Cheltenham fixture for the season.

Will Friday, incidentally. see the beginning of a lucrative new owner / trainer combo??? At that meet forum favourite, Nicky Henderson, has his first runner for old boy Malcolm Denmark.

Look forward to it running in a handicap off a mark of 110 for Fergal.

Has to be considered a possibility, I say, has to be considered a possibility. Yes, I noted that FOB was now on the Denmark roster. Feather in the cap for FOB and all that. If he carries on at this rate he'll be training for Queen Camilla soon...

You can only conclude that following the transfer of Petrossian and The Man With The Golden Gun running in the 'Ces' for WP of the Mullins that there has been a bit of a tiff between old boy Denmark and Mr Nicholls.

Re WP of the Mullins, incidentally, I see he is now training for the 11th richest man in Wales!!!
