Cramp isn't an injury ffs, I had one in bed yesterday <doh>

I don't think these footballers get cramp. If they did they would not just sit on the floor at the first sign of cramp. They would in fact suddenly pull up screaming in agony, frantically pace backwards and forwards in the hope it corrects itself whilst reacting in a combination of laughing and cries of pain. Add to that the other 21 players on the pitch would be absolutely pissing themselves at the spectacle.

Before VAR,The foul for our penalty and the offside goal were weekly parts of the game. The two goals tonight and the manner of how Blackburn won should be scrutinised and ripped to bits in the press and on talk shows, but it'll not, because everyone likes Blackburn. Hard lines tonight lads, you've been shafted but we're the better team. Onto Saturday.

5 games mate before world cup but reckon simms will be back for 3 of them. Id take 7/8 points in those 5 games

Have to be careful with that. One of those that can go again easily.

Yeah probably me too. Shame that the injury to Stewart has really killed momentum and will probably mean play offs are not a stretch.

Most frustrating thing is these are now top and there’s absolutely nothing between us (if we had a a striker of course)

Such a frustrating time for the club right now.

The lads involved are giving everything, and I like TM and his attacking mindset.

Just miss a main striker. Can’t name a single team in this league that would be doing better than us if their forwards were out injured.

The only positive I can think of is thank **** we’re not in league one anymore.

It's not just the lack of striker, it's the lack of anyone willing to take the responsibility. We're a bit like an Arsenal side of 6 or 7 years ago where we'll pass it endlessly along the edge of the area without doing anything. We don't take many shots at all from distance or in the area. Instead of trying to thread everything through the eye of a needle, sometimes we just need to hit some speculative efforts and see what happens.

Roberts been trying to do it all himself same for Clarke today, prefer to carry the ball rather than play anyone else in.

Still plenty of the season to go but i get what you mean. If we get january right and stewart n ballard are back firing then i think the playoffs will be achievable- which is more than i expected this season
