Well another middle-of-the-night job, I just hope this time it's worth the sacrifice of my beauty sleep. We just need to score first, if we can, then I think we have a chance of getting something from the game, if we concede first then I fear another loss.

I really feel Greaves needs a game or two out the side to get his confidence back and give McLoughlin a go. If Elder is unavailable again, and Fleming is still not ready to start, why not give Matty Jacob's a go, he's 21 now, and did well at Gatehead, better have a square peg in a square hole, rather than someone playing out of position. But there again, if Bowler is playing they certainly need someone to try and keep him quiet.

I think Tufan needs to be dropped for this game, doesn't track back enough, maybe play Docherty/Slater and Seri in midfield.

We certainly need a result, and as DD said earlier if we can get a win and with a big follows Saturday at Rotherham and get a result there suddenly things look a lot brighter.

What if…

We start the game like we did in the first half against Birmingham. We look the better side and things don’t go against us for once. We actually score goals. We go on to comfortably beat Blackpool. Then we go to Rotherham. Turn them over and suddenly we are mid-table, fearing no one. We go on an incredible run from then on, maybe even a play-off charge by the end of the season?

Anyway I’m off to bed now. Goodnight.
Is there a sign on your bedroom door saying “Cuckoo land”?

Bowler was sold to Forest, who immediately loaned him to Olympiacos. :emoticon-0100-smile

Can't make my mind up on this one.We badly need a performance and a win to go with it!

Tentative 2-1 for the Tigers.

P.S,what's the XG for both Clubs? Is it safe to have a bet based on these figures...Awaits expert summarisation.

As ever, the XG is GTF. :emoticon-0111-blush

I think it's time we started to grind out some draws. Stop the rot.

Baxter
Coyle Fig McLoughlin Greaves Elder
Doc Jones Slater
Oscar Pelkas

Christ, Jarvis didn't look bad when he came on, I'd even start him along side Oscar.

Must say that's exactly the team I was thinking. I might play Seri ahead of Slater if we have Jones to tackle in midfield (as Seri won't), and still think if he was fit I'd be tempted to play Smith ahead of Pelkas as still think we need 2 genuine forwards. I haven't seen anything from Sinik so far to think its worth playing 4-3-3 to accommodate a winger, although I accept it's early days with him.
By the way, I don't imagine for a second we will play this team!

If we play the full game like we played the first half v Brum and can actually get efforts on target we'll be in with a good shout. Heads will drop if we concede any early goals due to being poor at the back... So 1-0 down within 15 minutes and gradually getting poorer as the game goes on it is then... 3-0 loss... Or... a 2-1 win if we turn up and get things right for a change.

I thought Jarvis looked poor to be honest. Didn't make loads of runs that he could have done. Left Williams for dead numerous times. Don't think he's the answer. At the same time I think Tufan gets unfairly criticised for his defensive efforts though, so what do I know.
