I’d get the players on the plane to Turkey. They look like they need a break,

The sooner the right Manager is on board, the better.
I don’t have faith that Arun will choose or be able to attract the right manager if he wants to continue to play Football Manager. The Allams to be fair weren’t too shabby with their managerial appointments.

Where do we go from here? Another new formation with the players available. Give away a stupid penalty, play pretty well but can't score first half. Come out second and go 2 down and then what - nothing! Ruddy could have been sitting in the stands. God help whoever comes in and tries to get a tune out of this lot.

Imagine if some of the big-time Charlies had half as much heart and determination as Doc. Tufan’s worst game in a City shirt by far. Just didn’t look interested.

This is a ****ing mess and no amount of free holidays and other gimmicks will change that.

Tufan is undroppable
Don't you know

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. I am back. Get a grip it's time to wake up and smell the coffee. Let's get back to basics starting with good afternoon east stand.

I thought in the first half we played pretty well and the pen was unlucky. Second half was the worst I’ve seen this season. Utter dross. I fear the worst. Worse than League 1. Admin, taking ball home etc etc. It’s not going to end well. I hated the Allams but at least they didn’t interfere too much on the football front.

because Papa Allam was clueless about football & his only interest was how much money he could extract from the club. Acun is proving that he doesn’t know as much about football as his ego tells him. He incorrectly appointed Shota as manager & like a child in a sweet shop has brought in 16 players over the summer with no thought on how they are to actually play together as a team. He then made another wrong decision in letting both Smallwood & Honeyman leave. On the pitch we are in a real mess & unless Acun brings the right manager in to sort it out ASAP his dream is going to turn into a nightmare.

I said after huddersfield
Something fishy is going on
And he starts yet again

Myself and others questioned Tufan’s attitude and fitness based on his nightmare loan spell at Watford. I think this is just how he is. Technically, he’s a good player, but he disappears for entire games and we can’t afford to carry players like that in arguably the toughest league in the world.

When Tufan went off he sat down on the bench and put his head in his hands, rubbing his face. He knew that wasn’t good enough. I don’t think fitness is his issue, he ran most of the pitch to get back and tackle a few minutes before he came off, it’s that he just isn’t a tackling midfielder.

Doc improved that midfield a lot. He certainly isn’t lacking in confidence. Jarvis looked alright as well.

A team devoid of all confidence there, better performance today but that goal at the start of the 2nd half knocked the wind out of the team and fans. We need to get better at cheating, teams do it week in and week out against us and these inbred single digit IQ refs buy it week in and week out. 2nd half was so ****ing flat.
A Brummie fan we were talking to before the game was saying Hannibal was a handful. He said what he’d do playing against him would just niggle him and he’d get sent off. Fairly early on Doc did that with a good heavy challenge, and he reacted. Their players surrounded him and made sure he didn’t get into further trouble. Think he somehow got away with a booking then but was given one shortly after. Why didn’t we have someone continuing to niggle him? That’s the know how/ needle that we have n’t got.

Its incredible that we didn’t fill the void left by Smallwood with a better number 6. Criminal really.

I was impressed with Daws as a manager this afternoon, he had the balls to sub off over £120,000 a week in wages in the 2nd half. I think that proves that Acun isn't picking the team. Also interesting to see Robbie Stockdale what brings to the party in the way of coaching and experience, he was in the dugout today.
