From a personal perspective, the kids were home learning only for about 3 weeks, we wore masks, which was a pain in the heat, we got vaccinated and then opened up and currently have about 5-6x less deaths per capita than the UK, Oh and the other upside was that there were less whinging poms about.

I admit in other parts of Oz things were not quite as easy but overall I don't think we did too bad, so far.

Got my booster booked in, but not getting it done until a few weeks time, that way I could pick a time I wanted. I still need to get my flu jab, but everytime I've been to the chemist the last few weeks, they've looked busy, so can't be arsed with waiting around, ppl will just irritate me.

most round me have been drop ins for the boosters, but I guess it depends on health authorities. Flu, just phoned local pharmacy and went in at a time that was good for me.

best bit about being on the edge of death, they look after you better than the rest of you lot :bandit:

I'm in the chemist virtually every week, so didn't see the point in phoning them to book an appointment, last year they just offered it to me when I went in. I'll be in there again this week, so hopfully it will be quiet and I can get it done there and then. Failing that it might get done the same time as my booster, I have to go somewhere else for that, hence why I couldn't be arsed to rush.

are the covid places also offering flu jab round your way?

did a walk in last year for third and flu was being offered. But that wasn’t in my local area, plus already had it. Thought it could have been just to make best use of the f resource

I've no idea, I normally get chance to talk to the people in the chemist, but been no chance the last week or two with the amount of people in there. I've only seen them advertising the flu jab. I then got a text telling me to book my booster, but when I went online, it was only the same places as last time, so I have to travel. Although now talking to you about it has made me think, I think I've gone and booked it half term week, I'm a dickhead! Ah bolloxs I ain't changing it now. I'll wait until I go to the chemist in the week, and see what they say.

Don't get me started, I was following behind some guy with a walking stick the other day while going over there, I couldn't keep up with the guy, he clearly didn't need the stick but suppose it makes a good visible aid for whatever reason.
