I'd hold my hands up if I had done something out of order, but the first thing that clownshoe reported me for didn't even have a sweary word in it, plus it was aimed @ Nev.

To be slightly serious for a moment , I think everyone of us who has used this forum for quite a while now was really glad that it was set up - by mick - and seemed to be a place where we could escape the shrill bleating of prepubescant inadequates ;
Sad to say the message you recieved Tina has "dickwad " written all over it. A lot of chaff has blown in here along with the wheat since the long overdue announcement that 606 had died several years ago , like twats from a sinking ship.

Lets not let it head that way again ; "moderators" who have neither common sense , an understanding of what they are moderating on, or the good grace to deal with something so banal without resorting to playing the jumped up little dictator should...and Im searching for the correctly nuanced phrase here..." Get to **** " or indeed be gotten to ****.

So let's get this clear, you are saying that as a "moderator" you are allowed to dole out punishments to people who insult you?

I'm not suggesting Tina did, as I see no evidence, but why are you any different to any other poster? I've been insulting Mick for 4 years but he has never sanctioned me. On my bad days I have been slightly more than insulting to other deserving posters yet they have not complained to anyone.

Your job as "moderator" is to respond to complaints from other posters, not simply reacting to people who disagree with you and threatening them with loss of playground privileges.
 
Sounds a lot like 'its my ball and you're no playing.'

Except he doesn't realise that it isn't his ball. <doh>
