I totally ignored that bit, I think I went to make a brew. Probably get pelters from Luv as it's likely the crux of the whole story That scene over the table is proper dark tbf if true.
I turned it off for the match. Traumatised. Think I'll give the rest a miss. Luvvy must be one sick puppy.
It's a ****ing great film. You can't ****ing watch it in bits, you have to give it your full attention and not ****ing turn it off like @Treble fuming.
It's a Sunday night film, good bottle of red peace and quiet, full attention and take it all in. I give up. Bet you still haven't watched The Father?
No longer live there so not sure how I'd hook up with him, although it's tempting to get one. I'm up there this weekend as it goes but wouldn't have time to. Cheers though! Know anyone in Swansea?
not better than breaking bad but I really enjoyed it had the same vibez but not quite the same. I liked learning the background stories of some of the BB characters…prompted me to rewatch BB(currently season 5 episode 4) Spoiler when you watched BB first time no one knew that Lalo and Howard from BCS were buried under Gustavo Fring’s Meth lab sick

Rings of Power season 1 - 5.3 Massively disappointed. I don’t usually write in-depth analysis on films or shows but needed to on this. Whilst it’s visually stunning and the acting is very sound, the build up has been incredibly slow, to the point it could’ve easily been compressed so that more oomph could’ve been given in other areas. One proper battle throughout the whole season is a right ****ter. Despite the good acting, there isn’t a single character so far that I’d care about if they got offed in season 2. Also predicted who was who in the finale, I’m not sure if the reveal was meant to be overly surprising or not but it might have been nice if they at least tried making it more of a guess. Sometimes first seasons can be slow and then burst into life in future seasons and that’s what I’m hoping is the case with this but considering the cost of this one and the LOTR reputation it carries, I had much higher expectations for it.
I enjoyed it ... having read The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales it probably made the 'reveals' more obvious ... but still enjoyed it it, nevertheless...
The visuals are brilliant, especially that final episode and that’s what prevented me from rating it lower but most of the episodes were an absolute chore to get through.
I agree, it was just okay and considering the films and the source material and the crazy budget I think most expected more from it.
I have, watched the latest episode earlier. 2 episodes of Under The Banner of Heaven to go, thought 7 episodes would be a drag but not at all, slow but necessary
Watched 2 episodes of The Walk In. Stephen Graham superb as always and quite a hard hitting show for ITV.
