Don't know how anyone can draw the conclusion that he is staying from what he is quoted to have said in that article.

What that does tell me is that, as of yet, there has been no contact made by Leicester with either him or the Club.

Knowing the kind of integrity the man has and our desire to see him finish the job he has put so much effort into, I cannot see him having any interest whatsoever in going back to that Club. Looking at how the owners have behaved so far, I think even if he were restless, he would have serious issues with working with such people.

What I would find interesting would be what Adam Pearson and the Allams do IF Leicester ask permission to speak to Nige.

I'd like to think Adam would refuse them permission to talk to them; it's not like they are a bigger club so why should we. If a Premiership club came calling they might well not wish to stand in his way as it would be a career advancement for him. But Leicester most certainly is NOT that.

Considering the abuse he gets on Radio Humberside and various sites he might just be milking the moment a bit. I wonder how many of those that have moaned about him are now 5hitting themselved that he could go?

None. They don't have a brain between them.

Well if it was me, Id do the same, and Id be reading some of the forums about it laughing me tits off, not to mention having a laugh at the suckers thinking 2-1 is good odds throwing money away.

History does not lie. Accept your place Foxy.

I actually have to agree with Foxy here. The whole 'they used to be good so it matters now' theory is bollocks, the sort of bollocks you hear from TWS fans...

I'm betting people claiming Udders are the bigger club due to long gone history would be all over any TWS fans doing the same...and rightly so.

Was big? Erm great. Well done.

Now, moving on, to the present, and reality. Udders are not a bigger club than Hull or Leicester and its just being WUMish or even childish to suggest otherwise. Unless you have some current, and relevant facts to share of course.

Current league position? Current number of supporters per home/away game? Etc.

Good post.

I do however think it's better for Clark to stay at Huddersfield as it seems he is doing, he's got everything he needs there and the expectation at Leicester would be a disaster before it began. Nothing to do with the size of the clubs mind.

Agreed, I think Leicester could turn out to be a poison chalice tbh, and if he's happy at Udders and gets them promoted, fair play to him.

This is from Ian Stringer who works for BBC Radio Leicester and is usally bang on

Expect lots of Pearson talk now - RT @talkSPORT: Lee Clarke to stay Huddersfield boss after ruling himself out of running for Leicester job

Will you stop banging on about what the Leicester Mercury say and quoting what people are saying they think will happen! The truth is, no-one knows what the situation with Nigel is yet, we'll have to wait and see what happens. Until we get some proper news, please refrain from posting pointless quotes and news articles based entirely on rumour.

Sorry for breathing ProudTiger but I thought that a forum was for doing just that. UTT. <cheers>

Of course a forum is for sharing opinions, however posting threads and making comments based on what the Leicester Mercury are saying (which is based on rumour) and what pundits are predicting is getting rather tiresome now. I'd much rather Proud_Fox waited for some substantial news based on fact before posting yet another unjustified rumour.

i cant see him going, but i imagine leicester could easily double his wages, double his promotion bonus and offer him 10-15m in the next 2 transfer windows..and im guessing he still lives close by?
money isnt everything but its what 99.9% of us get out of bed in the morning for, and while the bookies arent alwats correct, you dont often get 20/1 to 11/8 swings in a couple of days without a decent reason...
